Woodward didn’t like Wade. Wanted him gone. Wade was fired, because Woodward wouldn’t back him up.
Woodward was fired because he didn’t want to hire lane Kiffin. There is no way lsu hires Kiffin with Woodward still here. He had to go.
Money has been flowing into the lsu athletic department in droves since Woodward was fired.

The Brian Kelly hire is complete revisionist history. LSU fans were ecstatic to get him when it happened. It just didn’t work out, that happens.

Not by me. I’m not all the other lsu fans. I hated the hire at the time.

I think it was more of an ego thing with Woodward. He wanted to bring in "his guy", and he managed to make the worst hire imaginable.
