Imho...
The line is so large due to the ol play of arkansas so far this year. Combine that with the weak schedule and giving up points to troy. The talking heads naturally assume that bama's defense will slow down the hogs. While, bama's offense will be able to grind the game away.
I personally believe that arkansas will have difficutly running the football, but will find it success in spread formations with quick throws to players out of the backfield. And if wilson gets time, bama's secondary can be exposed as our safety's coverage skills are not that great

I don't really care what the "experts", Bama fans or even Hog fans say right now. I'm just ready to watch the fricking game. I'm not expecting a win, but it'd be awesome if we did.

Good post.
I guess my point is that we were not getting nearly the yards last year on the ground we are this year, but were picked to win the game by many anyway.
I just find it funny that their main reasoning is that we cannot run the ball without Knile Davis, but we average nearly 200 rushing yds a game. That is a mile ahead of where we were this time last year. I think Knile only had 6 carries in the game with Bama a year ago.
It will be a good one today and I am excited to watch it unfold.

Joe Adams in the backfield could create some opportunities , if nothing else but a decoy. I expect our running game to be enough to keep them honest.

Petrino has been planning for this game for a long time. I think we will see a whole lot of trick plays and misdirection from him today. I would not be surprised to see Arky up 14-17 points before Bama has a chance to settle in.

While, I am a homer. I can see your point. However, I think bama's run d will require a level of commitment to it to be succesful, as I think they lack playmakers on the interior in the second units. I just don't arkansas will commit to it when they can prolly attack our secondary easier. Dee millner is better, but he is still a work in progress as a cover corner. You will see a safety shade to his side on most plays. Attack under there and you might find some success

All those fancy Ark plays look real purty..........versus Missouri State.

Yeah...not like Arky has never shocked a Saban Bama team with a flurry of points ever before.

Arkansas is coming into this game averaging 170.5 yards rushing against scrub teams. Missouri State, New Mexico, and Troy.
A inexperienced O-Line and the loss of Knile Davis.
If Arkansas had the rushing game they had in the LSU game when they played Alabama last year, then Arkansas probably knocks off Alabama.
But then again you are a so called "expert"

Piss off, woman. It's made with butter fat. I think whoever nade ice cream had America in mind. "What can we do to make Butter better? EXTRACT THE FAT AND FREEZE IT"
If they mix it with bacon I might have a seizure holding an ice cream scoop.
