Thats a nice theory but under that framework wade would have already come out swinging by now but he hasn't. This means you're wrong.

Like hell they do. If they did, they would never get outbid for a player they wanted. These handlers may tell them other schools are involved, but that doesn't mean a damn thing. The handlers are just like runners for an agent. They are making money off of these kids and they are trying to pad their pockets as much as possible.

Why would he come out swinging right now? The NCAA hasn't been involved to this point. He'd be stupid to show his hand if he doesn't have to. And he may never have to.

No, you did. I lied to get the best deal for myself just like these handlers are doing. The handlers aren't steering these players/making deals for players for free. They want the best deal they can possibly get.

Find one post I've made defending Wade. In fact, the people over at tiger droppings haven't taken too kindly with my opinion on the matter. But that's not what's being discussed ITT. What's being discussed ITT is whether Wade is an isolated incident and whether other schools do the same type of things but just haven;t been caught with their hand in the cookie jar like Wade. I think you're extremely naive if you think most programs aren't doing the same thing.
If you actually care for my opinion instead of making sweeping generalizations of my opinion based on what others have said....I think Wade is a moron for making these calls himself and very likely is screwed. I think LSU fans are stupid for blaming Alleva or F King and think Wade is 100% responsible for what's happened. The calls sounded horrible and it is not unfair to say Wade was negotiating pay-for-play for Smart. I hate it for the program, but it is what it is. I didn't disagree with him being suspended or Smart being held out. All I can hope for is the NCAA can't find enough of a paper trial to make the allegations stick, which is wishful thinking.
But me saying everyone cheats is not me defending Wade at all, so please stop with that nonsense. But I guess it doesn't work for your narrative that not all LSU fans think alike. But you do you
