I have always thought NC State should apply to join the SEC.

That would get them out of the shadow of UNC and Duke.
Who else thinks NC State would be a good fit in the SEC?

The SEC will add UNC or Virginia before they add NC State.

Don’t want Virginia. UNC is a take with their blue blood basketball history. UVA just flat out sucks

UNC is the only of those schools in North Carolina and Virginia, to complete our Southern footprint, who's truly desirable. Virginia Tech would get my nod, they're a better fit culturally for the SEC. I wouldn't mind NC State but they're kind of middling.
The truth is if we were to take UNC and needed one more ACC school to poach to keep scheduling even, Clemson is the best fit for the SEC. But we don't need them since we have South Carolina, and they sure as hell wouldnt want them to join.
My vote goes to UNC and VT.
