What are you?
He/She is a Nutt fan, do not mistake he/she for either an AR or Ole Miss supporter.
There are an element of AR fans who love the Nutt more than the Hogs and take every opporunity to slam the program and wish it to fail now that Nutt is gone.
At least when discussing with you, Duke, Deuce, etc..... it is an honest discussion between fans (and occasionally insulting).

right now and for the next 5 years or so I'm going to be an Ole Miss fan. Arkansas deserves to lose the next several years and I suspect they will until their first 9-3 football season gets Petrino a meal ticket out of here then it's right back to losing and probabaly losing to some sunbelt teams.
Reading the reactions of the people responsible for the abuse of Nutt and his family when he whips their arse from the same program he won 7 of 10 against is going to be awesome. Reading their reactions to their beloved God of football Petrino losing by 5 touchdowns to Bama in the second conference game of the year each year will be awesome. Houston Nutt is bigger than the Razorback football program.

More like Diana Nutt or Teresa Pruitt. Both have a history of making bad decisions when it comes to "the internets".
Just kidding wildrebel, go ahead and spew your hate.

In the long run, LSU and Arky will benefit from Nutt being in Ole Miss. Broyles and Nutt should be gone from the way they handled the Malzahn/Mustain situation.

I'm almost positive that he is a fan of those schools as well. There's only so much room in your signature, ya know.

There are a lot of fans from other schools in NWA, whether LSU, OK, TX, etc.... Almost all of the ones I know agree with you.
To be fair to Hootie, I wonder if he would have done better without JFB's interference. Do not doubt it, JFB meddled with every coach he hiredd except maybe Wilson Matthews.
On the otherhand, JFB helped protect Hootie too.

SLC, the thing about Broyles meddling is that if you look at his record of accomplishments on and off the field, with hiring assistant coaches, and hiring head coaches as A.D. as well as the way he built the athletic program from pretty much the ground up to a top 25 program in terms of potential and revenue then he deserved the right to meddle a little bit. If he wants to call Jimmy Johnson, Barry switzer, Joe Gibbs , Monte Kiffen, people close to him and get their opinion on how something might work and couple those opinions with his own then he is ok to meddle a little bit. You see now that he's gone this football team looks like crap? You see the last 2 basketball hires forced on him turned out to be crap? Fans wanted to be aggressive and throw the ball downfield alot more. Arkansas does not have the talent in it's immediate recruiting base to compete in the SEC doing that like they do with a conservative running game.

wildrebel is a sore Nutt sucker. They are easy to identify. The Nutt had his dream job at Arkansas and now that all the haters have run the douche bag off. They want us to fail. Well guess what over our history we have had some great D1 football coaches at our school. Houston Dale Nutt was and is the least qualified to coach our program than any of the others and this list includes: Broyles, Holtz, Hatfield and Danny Ford. So, don't tell any of us what a great coach he is/ was and how he is respected since we all in Arkansas know exactly who he is. A pinto driving fool that will sell you a Cadillac package. Good Luck to you Ole Miss.

You people always forget that Ed Orgeron was our last coach.

Hawgalude I disagree with that on a few reasons.
1. Ford was fired after 5 years with a losing record. Ford even routinely lost nonconference games. Nutt lost 3 in 10 years to 2 powerhouse programs, one of which is about to be sanctioned for cheating and the other Texas, he was 2-1 against.
2. Hatfield took over Fords seat at Clemson and was fired after 4 mediocre seasons. Hatfields winning percentage at Arkansas was not much better than Nutt's and he was playing only 1 team, Texas, that should have been a built in loss most years. Nutt routinely faced 4 to 6 programs per year that typically should have been a loss. So Ford was better than Hatfield, and Nutt is better than Ford. Hatfield probabaly would have faired no better in Ark under SEC competition than Ford did if he couldn't compete close to the level Ford did at Clemson.
4. Holtz? I don't think so. Holtz didn't fair well in the head to head match up from South Carolina. But, if you put him here in his prime after his first 3 years of winning with Broyles players, he was pretty mediocre except for 82 but even there at 9-2-1 he still lost to Texas, Baylor and tied SMU so I'd say that's not as impressive as Nutt's 06 season.
5. Broyles? He had a ton of mediocre seasons and 3 or 4 real good seasons scattered throughout for a winning percent right at 70% in a much weaker conference than the SEc.
Nutt is also the only coach to have a winning record against Texas.
So, Nutt was by far the best coach we ever had an the evidence shows that. But, in order to grasp it you have to have an understanding of how much better the SEC is than the SWC was. We are 9th in potential in the SEC relative to recruiting base and budget. In the SWC we were probabaly 2nd. Texas was the only program that you could say 2 out of 3 years should have been a built in loss and it was for all those SWC coaches. LSU, Bama, Auburn, GA , TN, SC and OM if you average them all together should be built in losses 2 out of 3 years, with Florida, GA and LSU more frequent and SC and OM slightly being less frequent.
