Dont mention it....have to say I havent ever met or talked to a Bama fan that I didnt feel like hitting in the head with a hammer...glad to see youre holding up your end in fine fashion in that regard! Oh...I really hope you finish one game better than 5-7...maybe 6-6...be nice to go down to Independence Stadium again and give the Tide Boosters another "warm welcome" at the I-Bowl like they got last year!

I think I'll end up saving a lot of money on gas by moving to Shreveport. Eliminating travel costs.

At this stage, it just does not matter.
Whomever we are behind we either play or will play each other. As long as we control our own fate, we should have no complaints. If (when) there were (is) another team like BYU, Penn St., South Florida, or Ohio St. interposed it would matter a bit. Incidentally, before this is all said and done , that is very likely.

My prediction is 1)OU 2)LSU 3)Mizzou 4)Bama 5)Texas. FWIW, Texas looks pretty good at this point, and beat Arkansas worse than Bama did. So it could just as easily en up Ou-Mizzou-UT as 1-2-3 with Bama at #4. Since it doesn't matter based on the teams, I think we'll simply move up to #2 or #3 with Bama close behind.

Anyway you slice it, if any of us would have been told LSU would be in this position going into the first week of October, we'd have been happy. Great job by Les and the team.


. . . and anyway you slice it, with UF, USC, UGa, Bama, and even Ole Miss on the horizon --- it just doesn't matter! With an inexperienced QB and a secondary with glaring pass coverage glitches, our odds of getting through that SEC lineup unscathed is virtually ziltch.

I can only hope that BAMA gets ranked #1 or #2. That way they will have that big X on their backs! They really look good last night. Georgia must have thought home field mean automatic win! WRONG!
