I hate Texas and I hate Oklahoma

Not the states, but the universities. They are gay and weird…probably on the same level as aTm, but not worse (shockingly).
This is a truly strange agreement the SEC has stumbled upon.
My two alma maters (MSU and Ole Miss), seem to be third class citizens with those of UK, Vandy, South Carolina, Arkansas, and new to the degenerate club: Auburn and Tennessee…sorry, welcome to the kids table.
It’s just sad, looking at my fellow baws across the campfire…we sold. Our tradition is lost.

I’ve been to Norman. Very average for the college experience, but certainly below average for the SEC college experience. SAD!

Doesn't sound like you went to college in Norman. So I suspect you really don't know what the "college experience" in Norman actually is like.
Norman is not terribly different than a lot of SEC locales other than it is part college town/part suburban... and as a result... is a little more low key than some places due to the fact that the party scene is dispersed throughout the OKC metro. I'd agree that it Norman doesn't have the energy of a lot of college towns.

Sports are used to divide and distract. One day we'll look back and realize how completely out of control sports got considering this all started as pickup games in a field to kill time.
