2006: Troy Smith wins the Heisman over McFadden because ESPN/the media states sophomores can't win the Heisman.

2007: Sophomore wins Heisman

2008: Sophomore wins Heisman

2009: Sophomore wins Heisman

It's some bullshite

Yeah, every year the Heisman comes up, i think about 2006/2007 and McFadden

I know you were joking, but..

Hootie really did piss off some media members after the LSU game in 2007(in regards to the Heisman).

Oh well, McFadden is already playing for the Raiders, he doesn't need the Heisman curse working against him in the NFL as well.

I've never cared for ESpin and avoid watching the channel at all costs.

the heisman is complete bullshite anyway. do we really care who wins? what does it matter? popularity contest.

i'm glad bama finally got one- i mean 6- so that the "premier" sec team has one.

actually it was Steve Spurrier's fault....after putting up 1000+ yards in 3 games on his defense Spurrier felt it was necessary to leave McFadden OFF, not 3rd or 2nd but completely off his heisman ballot.

"Talking heads/Media"

Just their sometimes biased opinions. Sometimes it's to raise viewersip ratings etc.

Good to remember; Opinions are like a-holes everybody has one!

FWIW ESPN put a huge campaign on for Woodson because Manning had a big lead for the Heisman with 2 weeks left.

Elections in the US suck. Ingram, Obama, etc

Besides last night. I still hate ESPN too. i.e. Robert Smith, Colin Cowherd, Jim Rome and others who like to hear themselves talk
