Just like most of you guys will....it is what it is.

THIS. Is OU or Texas built to win the SEC currently? OU certainly isn't, the jury is out on Texas but it would seem that they aren't either. There are 16 teams in the conference. At best 3 have the roster to win the conference and one of those has a new coaching staff going through those pains. ATM may prove to have a roster capable of winning the conference. Tennessee may have a roster to do so. LSU and UGA certainly do. Texas might but they did not look the part Saturday night against their first in conference test at home. Going forward UT and OU will be competitive in the SEC, again Texas may be now. What they will not do year in and out is be the only teams in the SEC who are competitive in the conference...there are 6 other programs who HAVE won national titles since either OU or Texas has. 3 of those have won more than one natty. Its just different.

Where did all those titles get you in your last TV deal?

Ah! So, B1G football is more interested in TV contracts than in....well....winning? That does explain a lot. I mean, SEC seems to be making boatloads of money and actually winning titles, too. Maybe not quite as much money as B1G teams, but not exactly a total wash, either.

We know you are an Ohio State fan, so you may not remember what this looks like:

Or maybe you can ask Michigan to see theirs?

As You said, the B1G's schedule is backloaded. The big matchups are yet to come.

Which explains why so many are in the top 5, too. You haven't played anybody.
And when the chips are down, you rarely beat anybody.

USC and Oregon fans aren’t tuning into Rutgers or Maryland and good luck with the exposure once the upper Midwest becomes fully acquainted with Gary Danielson

No need for this.
OU and Texas are great editions to the SEC and valuable assets to offset the expansion of the B1G.

I'm sure every SEC fan watches every SEC game. If they did, You would have NFL-like ratings. So You see how silly that is.

Up North, we watch football for the game, not the announcers.

Moving the goal posts I see. As soon as the B1G rises to the top of the polls you start coming up with the excuses.

Not moving the goal posts at all! You bragged that the B1G dominates the top 5 in rankings. I merely pointed out that the reason is because they have not played each other yet, and the SEC top teams have.

Maybe you have a problem with critical thinking?

Or perhaps you are lie the fans who like to crow about their team being undefeated after the first week of the season?

You mean the propaganda that says we have won 16 of the last 25 National Championships?
That's not propaganda. That's simply the truth.

They now realize the BIG12 "No defense" league is a little different than the SEC.
