OK State reported that Gundy turned them down and PSU reported that UF requested a talk with Franklin.
Hell, UF is paying Mullen more than Kelly signed for. That should indicate what a desperate Hail Mary Stricklin threw to Mullen

It depends on everything else, if the offense is humming and we beat most of the teams we are supposed to beat, he'll be fine. If he's 8-4 with average offense he and Stricklin will be on their arse by year 5. Just my opinion.

State lost their best coach ever. They will have a tough time winning as much as they did with mullen there. They're a stepping stone for a reason. The glory years of state football have come and gone.
