The only point to this thread was to either make him feel better about Texas losing or he is a rival fan searching for hope against an Alabam team that will be very good next yr

Bottom line, Bama came out and ran the fake punt and then goofed up the kick return. 6-0 Texas. They settled down and physically dominated Texas.
They came out way too cautious in the second half, and gave up a few big plays. Those 2 catches by Shipley were the only spark Texas had all night. Then Bama locked it down.
Also, no one thinks about the fact that Bama prepared for Colt McCoy for a month, and obviously the game plan for Texas wasn't the same for the freshman. Therefore, Bama's gameplan changes defensively.
In case you forgot, the final was 37-21.

I didn't see Bama LOSE to Texas either. Too many people with an opinion on what "didn't" happen, rather than what did.
