I'm not feeling the hate for Ar-kansas as much this year because we beat their arse so bad. Rooting for the SEC. UGA shite the bed.

I certainly understand some of the reasons why a strong family SEC unit is important but I certainly don't think that I have to root for every SEC team just because it's the SEC. For instance, this game doesn't matter. I'm just looking for a good game.

Arky is ahead of us in the AP and coaches, maybe a loss will bounce them below us in final rankings.

I simply don't understand why people pull for the SEC. Most sports fans pull for their favorite team, not their favorite conference. very weird.
I think its b/c some of us think that the SEC doesn't get enough publicity, but thats certainly not true. Everyone knows its the best conference in the nation.
If you're truly a fan of your team, you don't pull for their rivals, plan and simple.

This is why. The first time the SEC goes under .500 in the bowls, people will start talking about how the SEC is losing steam or others are starting to catch up.
Then, if your team is in the SEC it makes it easier for them to make a case that their teams conference is superior. THerefore, their team is superior. That's one argument.

Definitely pulling for the Hogs . Dont care what they are SEC brethren and Im going all in for them. Besides would be nice to say that we beat the Rose Bowl Champs, Orange Bowl Champs and then top it with Cotton Bowl Champs and Finally we are the National Champs.
