If he stays in the pocket and tries to be a passing QB then he may not even been the second string QB . He should run more because that’s his strength.

If hurts has figured out how to go through his reads, anticipate where a receiver will be, and throw him open, then I wish him all the best. If not, he needs to move on and let tua do his thing.

or it could be that qb's are down with a touch in spring game, which means he is not allowed to break tackles, his best strength as a runner
