I wonder what I can do... I wanted to work FBI at one point but I was rejected and never applied again. Was right after college and I had no work experience

True.
If you're serious, a Masters Degree in just about anything will get you in the door with the FBI right now. A friend of mine was just hired. 37 years old and a Masters in English Literature.

I have a Master's and I would love to work for the FBI.
I can't imagine there is a field office in Decatur however.

Yeah, that's the catch. My buddy has 20 weeks of training then assignment in a location yet to be determined. He's a big time family guy and everyone on both sides (he and his wife) are all here in Illinois within 20 minutes of each other. Back in the 80s they wouldn't take hardly anyone without advanced degrees in law or finance. Very different now.
