Watts continued to work for Sanderson after the affair ended but claimed she was subjected to abuse, including spitting, shoving and hair-pulling, finally culminating with a punch to her face. It allegedly occurred when she asked about his relationship with another female employee just before the '92 NCAA Tournament.

Not sure he didn’t have to take a greyhound back to Tuscaloosa from Pensacola. He was banished to El Paso and no major college would ever consider hiring his toxic arse for the remainder of his career. It would have been so embarrassing for a name brand school to hire him. No one thought Hugh Freeze would ever coach a major college program again. And certainly not in the SEC. Yet here we are.
