Look I havd no doubt he is a good father and husband etc. Just saying, there is a huge issue in recruiting and we both know it. I believe most are boosters (can't tell you why I know this) and part is within the institution. He is the head coach so he needs to clean up that mess.

If you have an issue with his recruiting, then why would you start a thread about him preaching......

Because of who he is surrounded with and worked with in the past.

And we go back to the topic of mercy...... Every human has committed sins they are not proud of. It's like you are just trying to find a way to degrade the man.

Let's remember going back to Houston Nutt the cheating that went on then as well. You guys always defended Nutt as a "great recruiter" when we knew how OM got and stole some of our recruits who grew up Msu fans right before signing day.

And now you throw Nutt under the bus and say "It was him cheating, not Freeze."

All I am saying is that cheating at OM is above average because our own state newspapers always give you an out, unlike they did for Msu.

Well Nutt was not a good recruiter. I can tell by your reasonings that you have pretty much been fed stuff on elitedawgs and take it as law. I am done arguing with you. Have a blessed day and I hope that you can find peace on this subject.

No I think Freeze is smart enough as head coach to know how and why you are stealing top recruits from other states. Lol you are even cherry picking recruits to a University that makes anyone ask how. And the "He is a great recruiter" stuff went out 4 coaches ago.

Freeze gets the same treatment as Tebow used to/still does.

Just because he is very vocal and open about his faith he catches a lot of shite for it and is expected to behave at a higher level than everyone else.

There is a big difference my man. Let's go back a ways. First off, it was not Msu raising all the eyebrows. Many other Sec coaches who understand recruiting wondered how on earth a program coming off a 2-10 season suddenly signed a top 5 class. Hello?

Secondly, Freeze himself went public and asked and I quote the best I can "If anyone has information about cheating email me." So the emails came in and Freeze held back a portion of those emails and even refused to give them to the media who asked.

Thirdly, for anyone living in this state, everyone knows about the jobs and benefits to moms of OM recruits going way way back to UMC , attorney offices etc etc. Naturally you can't draw a conclusion because recruits saw parents benefit but in reality it's buying recruits, just using mom.

Now you have the hacked account of Tunsil. I'm not worried about him smoking pot, that's just young people doing what they do. But that part about asking for more money and getting a "I thought we agreed on a said monthly amount" backs up everything we always knew.

Btw, if you want to know why Msu fans are so angry, go back to late 90's. Despite the spokesman for the Ncaa admitting after a 3 year investigation that what brought them to Msu did not exist, we got hammered for a recruit being given an Msu jersey before a visit. A current player at the time already on roster revieving 25 bucks for weekend spending money to clean up coaches offices etc. Trivial shite period. And it didn't help that the lead investigator was camping out at a female Ole Miss alum house.

We got a dirty rotten deal and you know it. You guys were all over message boards bragging how you had ties to several Ncaa people and how glorious it was bringing us down. To this day you still can't explain why an Ncaa investigator was camping out at an Ole Miss alum house can you.

For what? Jesus preached to help the unfortunate. He's not letting woman beaters on his team or anything.

That's not what the Bible tells us to do. Leave the man alone when it comes to his religion. If he's testifying for his own benefit, he'll be dealt with by a much higher authority than the NCAA.

Difference is Tebow was never involved in a major NCAA investigation and please don't give me that Hugh Freeze "didn't know" crap... NO ONE and I REPEAT NO ONE is that stupid!!

a believer isn't he doing what God wants him to do? Use his platform to bring the gospel into people's lives. I do say he mentions it a little too much, but he is passionate about it and wants the world to feel the power of the Holy Spirit. I'm sorry if you aren't a Christian and this drives you crazy, but it is just who he is.

Yes it's very Christian to supply party rooms for drug addict players. Lie to Mommas. Treat black players like property. And have unethical relationships with HS girls while being their coach.
