Hugh Freeze Introductory press conference at Mississippi State

Reporter: "Coach, what compelled you to take the job at the flagship university in the state of Mississippi?"

Freeze: "It's just the competitive nature. This university has shown if will do ANYTHING to win, no matter the cost. I also was drawn to the godly people, like coach34. He's committed to 'the cause' and now so am I."

Reporter: "Can you elaborate on how negotiations with state went? I mean given the history between you two, was it awkward at first?"

Freeze: "I mean yeah considering Mississippi State did everything in their power to get me fired I was a little uncertain about my desire for the job. But then I saw the skanks at the bulldogs and I thought 'damn son.' So that made it easy for me.

We put that in the contract you know."

Reporter: "Has the university provided you with a burner phone?"

Freeze: "Yes, several in fact. They even have a guy follow me around with a box of em, just in case I get the urge."
