Nah...our actual five star QB recruit is actually performing at a five star level in his senior season. Keelon Russell threw six TD passes in his game last Friday night to just five incompletions.

I guess I don't understand how that is possible considering every major recruiting service has him as a four star.

By committing he must've come to terms he's not starting immediately.

What - he’ll be downtown Hank Brown’s backup?

Knight’s departure last week came as a surprise to many. He announced his decision to join Lipscomb on July 30 and informed first-year coach Kevin Mawae of his decision to leave on Labor Day.

I'm sad to hear that Kevin Mawae is living and working in Lucedale, MS.

You're right.

Let's check in on our Class of 2025 QB commit.

Russell propelled Duncanville High School to a state championship during his 2023 season by throwing for 3,267 yards and 35 touchdowns while only throwing three interceptions in what Stanfield touts as the "toughest football division" in the country.

We're fricking terrified.

He doesn’t.

He coaches at Lipscomb Academy in Tennessee. Knight went back home to Lucedale because he got embarrassed on national television in the 1st game of the season.

I guess he needs to return his state championship ring, his Elite 11 MVP and Rivals QB Challenge trophies.

Give him a cocktail shot for beating Saban in his prime.
