How would Mullen do at LSU?

LSU "recruits" itself and DM doesn't like to recruit. Good Xs and Os coach.

It would never happen, but if it did, Ole Miss and State fans heads would explode and if he beat Georgia while head coach at LSU they would all commit hari-kari (sic).

It does far more than other programs. But let Kirby and Saban steal a few 5 stars from the state every year and watch their heads explode.

The same as he did at Florida. I definitely think LSU should hire him.

Maybe true but even more so with Mullen. He won’t put up a fight. Hell, he let AJ Brown go to Ole Miss because he wouldn’t take the time to drive down the street to see him personally.

He’d probably do okay. Mullen’s big problem other than recruiting is clock management. He’s terrible at it. He also calls questionable plays.
He may be the best LSU can do though. The fact that they apparently are willing to hire proven loser Jimbo should tell everyone LSU is not in a good place. I think Mullen to LSU is a good move for both parties:
