I won't be surprised if he does...but it's still closer than it was made out to be early on.

I won't disagree with that. I don't want to say he came out of nowhere this year, but it reality, he kind of did. Last year the pecking order was:
1) Cam Newton
2) Barrett Trotter
3) Neil Caudle
4) Clint Moseley
5) Ryan White
6) Kodi Burns
I guess he figured he could compete this year, and he obciously did a good job. Too bad he'll never start a game at AU unless injuries occur.

I said earlier I wouldn't be surprised if all 3 QBs started a game at some point this season...
And I wouldn't call it coming out of nowhere. He was with Scout Team Freshman Year, and last year he was behind a Heisman Winner, A Senior, and a RS Soph.
I still believe it says something when you look at the Scrimmage and Practice videos and whenever they show the QBs doing drills at the same time, Gus is working with Clint.

I've watched pretty much all of them from the Bunker, ITAT, wareagleextra, AuburnUndercover, etc.. And never seen this. Regardless, they only get to video so much of the practice. It could've also meant Clint needed the most work because Trotter already knew what was going on for the most part. Who knows.

Gus is usually very hands on with the QBs he wants to use the most during the season/wants to get the most out of.

Well, I would suggest everyone stay away from any player associated with Miami unless you want to open up a "cam of worms"
