2 power conferences
Either 8 divisions of 5 or 10 division of 4.
12 or 16 team playoffs, division winners get auto bids. Conference title games go away.

They won't resemble regional conferences. Hell, they don't really resemble them now.

And if they are going to blow it up.. I’d take the remaining 93 teams and put them in Level 2, with 8 division winners…. Relation style, Winthrop winners moving to level 1 and Division losers in Level 1 moving down to Level 2.
