Mullen will have to coach his arse off just to get this roster to 7-5. Outside of RB, CB, and DE, I’m not sure we have a single position group in the top 10 of the conference. DT, MLB, and QB are huge holes on this team, and those aren’t good spots to be your weakest links. It could be a really long year, and reinforcments are commiting to other schools as soon as they leave campus. Doesn’t look like it’s going to get better anytime soon.

Yikes, didn't think things were that bad in Gainesville.

UF fans booing Tom Petty definitely backfired.

Seems like Mullen would have a great shot to win that game. He and his entire staff will know all the personnel at MSU and will also be able to prep the Gators for the illegal cowbells.

It’s a two way street, our defense has been practicing against Mullen’s offense for 4 straight years. See what I did there? Also, how exactly will Mullen better prepare his team for Cowbells? Explain the logic on that one.

I think Jimbo will improve the offense and run game which should keep the defense off the field as much.

Defense needs more talent through recruiting. Jimbo wants a physical defense and it might take a year or two to get the talent he needs to win the west.

Fla has some holes to fill on it's roster as well.
I think Mullen will get the most out of whoever ends up winning the QB job. Can Mullen handle the pressure of the Fla job? He never had any at MSU. He knows the ins and outs of Gainesville and offensive improvement will be enough to satisfy Fla fans for now.

Shark humper couldn’t recruit and the roster shows it. Mullen has his work cut out for him. I’m, of the opinion he can’t recruit that well either.

We have a bunch of roster holes to fill so I don't expect more than 7-8 wins next year.

For Mullen to succeed he's going to have to recruit at a high level as I believe it more about the Joes than the Xs.

We'll see how that goes and we should know a lot this year.

If Mullen can’t recruit you’re in very bad shape.
Why so negative? I thought y’all were fired up about Mullen.

Maybe he and Stricklin will file complaints before the game forcing MSU to finally police them? Someone has to bring that lawless practice to heel.

I don’t think either has the QB talent they want.

Yep.
Nick Saban is the best college football coach in history (my opinion) but he has superior talent.
#1 recruiting class every year.

I was nervous before our game vs him last year because they destroyed lsu. Then we destroyed Mullen, and lsu lost to Troy, so my nerves have been calmed.

I’m not negative I don’t think, I just don’t think Mullen has proven he can recruit against the elite recruiters he has to go up against. He could prove me wrong but 2018 isn’t looking promising so far. We have a class full of three stars while Georgia, Bama, Clemson, and FSU continue to load up. It’s hard to spin that into a positive.

Albeit young, A&M has plenty of QB talent. Starkel, Mond and Foster were all 4 stars.

That being said I expect 8 wins next year for Jimbo.

A&M loses to LSU again and the Tigers keep the streak going dating back to the Cotton Bowl in 2010. I just don't see them scoring enough points against our D

Stricklin is the one who got the SEC to allow them in Scott Field again, so he is not likely to complain.

I thought McElwain would win a solid 9 games his first season and we went to Atlanta, so there is no telling what Mullen can pull off
