The purpose of this thread is to show how in every Alabama loss since the LSU/Alabama National Championship game, the winning team had at least 4 of the following 7 indicators in their favor:
-Alabama fails to score on their opening drive (Sugar Bowl was the only outlier)
-Opponent scores on their first drive (Happened 4/10 times)
-Opponent scores first (Sugar Bowl was the only outlier)
-Opponent has a positive turnover margin (Sugar Bowl, 2016 Championship and 2017 Auburn were the only outliers)
-Opposing QB has 250 or more total yards of offense (Auburn 2013 was the only outlier)
-Opposing QB accounts for 3 or more touchdowns (Texas A&M 2012, CFP vs. Ohio State and Auburn 2017 were the only outliers)
-Opposing QB has a completion percentage above 60% (Ole Miss 2014, CFP vs. Ohio State and Ole Miss 2015 were the only outliers)
2012: A&M at Alabama - 6/7 indicators
2013: Alabama at Auburn - 4/7 indicators
2013: Alabama vs. Oklahoma - 4/7 indicators
2014: Alabama at Ole Miss - 6/7 indicators

Opponent has to play really well. That's literally all you had to say.

So basically. Be a good team with a good QB.

Wrong.
Nobody beats Alabama except themselves. They were gracious enough to spot us 28 pts and we still had to play a perfect game to win.

Not just that. You have to do 4 of the 7 things I listed right, MINIMUM to beat Alabama.
If you combined the QB stats into 250+ yards of total offense, account for 3 TD and have a completion percentage above 60%:
-All but Cardale Jones in the 2014 season did at least two of the three
-Trevor Knight, DeShawn Watson, Trevor Lawrence and Joe Burrow did all three

Don't run toss dives and I-formation all night into a brick wall defense.
