UT will have better depth too.

And whoever said Pearl wasn't worried about Cal was right. For all Clyde's mishaps, he had Pearl's number. Cal...not so much.

Hey KY, since you're going to be so great in basketball why don't you do us a favor and join the Big !0. Geography wise, you're a perfect fit. I'm sure that we could steal a real southern school from the ACC. Perhaps even one who excels in basketball.

Hopson > Miller

I dunno about this one. Billy G treated Miller like shite and he didn't get the time that he deserved. Cal loves him. Says he will flourish this season.

Oh, and he just made the US Under 19 team that will play in the 2009 FIBA U19 World Championship in July.

Without Meeks, UK comes back to the pack quite a bit. I think the Vols can give them a run in the East.

LSU and MSU should put a good fight as well.

WTF???
LSU lost 4 of their top 6 players from last year. All they have coming back is Tasmin Mitchell.

SEC west predictions
1. Miss State
2. Alabama
3. Ole Miss
4. LSU
5. Arkansas
6. Auburn

I like Vernado and everything but you can bet on one thing this season bro...

Senario Hillman is going to make a poster out of him.

or Jarvis will poserize Hillman like he did Scotty Hopson in the SEC Tourney championship.

Bama is going to need more help than Hillman and Jamichael Green.

No but seriously, we're not loaded or anything but we do have some good players. Mikhail Torrence, Anthony Brock, and Andrew Steele are going to be solid next season IMO. Incoming freshman Tony Mitchell is a Gee-type player with a better jumper that will contribute immediately.

Grant coming in is the major factor.

That game was such horseshite, they let Varnardo get away with murder. It didn't help that we played like absolute shite either.

We took 42 2-point shot attempts and shot 19 FTs, MSU took 19 2-point attempts and shot 32 FTs.

The SEC wanted another team in the tourny BADDD.

If anybody got a Raw deal it was Mississippi State in the last minute of the game the referees gave Tennessee multiple calls. But we still found a way to win and punch a ticket into the big dance.

Hopson made and started on the U18 team last year (Miller was not). He was invited to this year's tryouts, but declined, citing family reasons. If you break it down, I don't think you could say Miller is better than Hopson. For everyone who says Miller didn't play as much. Hopson averaged more Points per minute.

Let me repeat...

We took 42 2-point shot attempts and shot 19 FTs, MSU took 19 2-point attempts and shot 32 FTs.
