I think it's gonna be a crazy good year to watch the SEC this year. Everybody is running a form of hurry up.

More plays per game is like getting free football every game.

More plays per game gives the most talented team a chance to overcome a fluke play or two.

I know UGA, A&M, even LSU and auburn are excited about their offense this year, but Alabama is going to be able to name the score with the most deadly offense ever.

Kevin Sumlin will have to make a conscious effort not to score 100 on a few teams. Even the good defenses will give up 30+ to us.

You are losing 3 borderline 1st round picks in the NFL draft that includes the heart of your line/Rimington Award Winner in Jones as well as one of the best guard prospects for the draft in years (Warmack)

but you are also losing a 1st round draft pick in Eddie Lacy

There is no way you are bumping your Yds/Carry up 2 yards

You also are not scoring as many points

Auburn stats

Passing - 2400 yards 20 TDS
Rushing - 2200 yards 25 TDs

Gives AU roughly 25 points/Game and 350 yards per game.

Conservative estimates considering the amount of plays AU runs and TOP is so low will make games a shootout

I'm not gonna try to predict the numbers or anything but SC should definitely finish in the top half in the conference on offense. Probably 4th behind Bama, UGa, and A&M. We only lose 1 TE, our Center, 2 WR (one lost their starting role in the middle of the season), and 2 RBs (Latt and Kenny Miles) but we have Brandon Wilds and Mike Davis who played very well in Lattimore's absence after the injuries plus Shon Carson. Our TE group will be best in the SEC. Also not to mention a very capable and proven backup QB in case we need a change of pace.

The most prolific in the country? We are a pass happy offense and rushed for more yards per game than Bama last season. Neither of things will change.

That's cool man. Alabama will have another one of these.
