"Re-watch the first half and talk to me about it. Mason had 5-8 yards on every carry except 1 in the first half. Payne was at 4-5 yards per carry on all but 1. Marshall was getting 4-5 on designed QB plays."

Then it sounds like you're saying it wasn't the LSU D, it was the fact that the HC and/or OC was seeing things in the same way. Or are you sticking with it's the punters fault? And with such great offense you posted, how could you have stalled drives?

No. What I said was that the LSU D had trouble stopping the run. The LSU D made very few positive plays in the first half. That the LSU D is not as good as it has been in year's past and that the LSU O is legitimate.

Yes the D had trouble stopping the run as well as AU's D. Just Hill's runs were a little bit longer and on the last one, had he drop the right shoulder and busted the DB in the chest.... TD!

It isn't false, you just don't remember it because of the way the game played out. I rewatched the first half yesterday.

I looked at the play by play recap. You're wrong when you say there is NO DIFFERENCE. It is incredibly false.

I'm not wrong.

Tre Mason 9 carries and 56 yards in first half. Nick Marshall 4 carries for 20 yards (excluding the dropped exchange). Cameron Artis Payne 4 carries for 14 yards.

If you watch it, you will see an LSU defense that didn't do much in the first half. NM threw a ton of incompletions, none of which were batted down by a defender. Most of which the receiver was open and either was a poorly thrown ball or the receiver dropped the pass. There was one interception on a ball thrown 40 yards down the field with no receiver in sight and the LSU defender waiting on it.

If you watch the game, you will not see a strong performance by your defense. If it is difficult to admit that, ok. But anyone that doesn't see it is blind.

This isn't about how AU should have won, blah, blah, blah. Just pointing out the LSU's offense is legit and that their defense has taken a step back and is vulnerable.
