Winning percentage aside, I think Kelly was on cruise control, which we all know won’t fly in BR.
In addition, he had no defenders. Sometimes you make the right hire, sometimes you don’t.

Well, thought it was their lifetime winning pct. at FBS level. But either way, Kelly has done more than any of those guys career wise. He's in the HOF no matter what he does from here on out. Saban and Kirby are the only ones in the HOF on that list. Rest have work to do. Even Elko. Kalen may get in based on what he did at the little schools before he became a coach at the big schools.
Kelly would get in strictly based on his FBS accomplishments.

He was a bad fit for LSU and probably the SEC.
