I honestly forgot his name was Bret until I read it in an article recently.

Another poster and myself are IRL friends with a guy who played for Arky back in the Houston Nutt days. He does NOT rant. I haven’t heard him call him Bret since the end of 13.

I’ve got a lot of my friends who aren’t on SECrant saying it. Once I said “but doesn’t he just look like a Bert” that was all it took to take hold.

That's 100% true. I know an actual Bert, who is quite a fatty.

I get confused when someone actually calls him Brent.

I just read his termination letter that was leaked online and watched sports center clip that had several stats and info graphics. Five minutes later I had a WTF moment and went back and reread the letter and rewound the DVR. My brain automatically corrects the written "Bret" into "Bert".
