Some people say "they" when talking about their teams because on many boards many get made of fun for saying "we" since we aren't coaches or players. You are right none the less, I should've figured it out, and I missed it.

How have you not noticed that retard the past couple of months? He literally just had a thread saying he had been kicked off of your board.

Don't lump him in with us.

OK, I am sorry I missed it. He threw me off with his logo. I should've recognized the name but I didn't. I can't keep up with all of the trolls in here, there are too many of them.

Who is out there to replace him if he's fired this year or next?

I wanted Gary Patterson originally. He actually came to an interview before we offered Gus.

Word has been he was interested in the UT job after Fulmer was fired and our egghead AD at the time Hamilton wouldn't even give him a interview....Since then he's pretty much told UT to piss off when we were looking.

How much is the buyout on Jan 1, 2019 vs. Jan 1, 2020?

I bet he gets one more year. They'll suck again next year and then he'll get fired.

Has Auburn ever had a coach y’all universally liked and didn’t threaten to fire?

I don't think AU will wait a year for the transition. It is a lot of money, but AU has it and I think they would be willing to spend it. If they can get a good coach interested, that is. If they can't find anybody they think is better, then they might consider the money.

Auburn has money, the buyout isn't an issue.

i see no other option but to keep him....thats money that could be spent elsewhere to do beneficial things....malzahn let his ego ruin the football program, so we might as well concentrate on basketball, baseball and softball

I didn't think there was a chance our boosters would pony up that money, but beat writers I trust are saying the money would come from the AD and it is in place if needed. Sounds like it is more possible than I expected.

It will be interesting to see if Leath can keep his job if the buyout is paid.

Be careful what you wish for Auburn fans...

Heavy coach turnover turns you in to Tennessee.

Saban is not recruiting state or region.

He recruits internationally and nationally. Sure he will get top guys in state IF he wants them, but Saban is really recruiting more against Ohio State than AU.

It is what it is.

Losing a coach every 6 years makes you a normal college football team.
