I am picking Clemson because they are due for a win and Alabama will get to keep Saban until he gets another National Championship before he retires. So it is best for Alabama to lose.

on 1/7/19 at 2:37 pm to FandyPackler2Clemson is talented AF and well-coached. They can, in fact win. Bama's better but not light-years better, so Bama has to bring its A game to keep Clemson from putting a real scare into them.
Remember, the last time Clemson beat Bama, Bama was the better team then too. Upsets happen, especially at this level.

This is 2018-19, though. I'm guessing that one time out of six was this season against Notre Dame, which suggests they don't have an upset on their record to use as evidence this year. We can't really point to past seasons as evidence of anything.

48-37 wouldn't really show that Clemson was overrated as most people expect them to lose.

If you really want Saban to retire then you should pull for Alabama to win this year and next.
He will feel his legacy is cemented for history if he does a 3 peat.
Otherwise he will end up hanging around at least 5 more years.
