You crazy?

A little, but that's beside the point.

The season opener last year for Arkansas (against Missouri State) was available through Pay Per View for $34.95. Roughly divided out, that's very close to $3 a month. $3 a month, for one game (against a sacrificial lamb). If I can watch the hogs play football twice a month during football season - and then I can watch those HD softball games as well - sign my arse up at $12 a month. shite, if nothing else were on, I'd watch Razorback fishing

All of this including documentaries and movies.

I'm hoping the SECN gives us more of these. I love stuff like America's Game or any kind of documentary

A Texas A&M and MSU match up would be pretty intriguing.

You mean the Jackie Sherrill-All Maroon-NCAA Probation Bowl?

Dividing it out like that makes the SEC channel for $12/month seem reasonable, but I know there is no way I would pay an extra $12 a month for that channel in non-football months.

I would be willing to pay $12/month if I lived in a different area of the country. It would probably be the only way I could watch a decent amount of SEC football.

Hell, I'd go as high as 20/month. That many football games coupled with the baseball alone would be a steal.

Hey, hey, HEY! Don't say shite like that. Who knows how many people high up in the SEC office are trolling the boards trying to figure out what price they can gouge fans for without them raising hell.

I think Jobu93 meant that he'd pay $20/year for the SEC network.

If the SEC starts up their network, what will they televise? What will they take away from the other networks they already get a ton of moolah from to televise SEC games?

Last season, the only football game I couldn't watch on my TV was the game versus The Citadel (and I think I was still able to watch it online via ESPN3 or justinTV). All others were televised via ESPN, CBS, or 3rd-party partners (FSN, FSS who sub-contracted with ESPN)....with the exception of that El Cid game, I believe all others were part of the mega-deals - directly or indirectly - that we already have signed. How would they re-work those without the SEC losing out on monies??

SEC NEtwork could carry 40 -50 footbll games

Basically a big chunk of it would come from those pay-per-view games the individual schools have a right to now. Those rights can be renegotiated in 2014. It's possible those games could be rededicated to the SEC Network.

Is the Big 10 network an additional fee or is it included in digital cable?

I'f it included every game on-demand from the big 3 sports after they were broadcast live, I would pay $15.

I mean if it is like Netflix, and on-demand shite is available on my account via xbox or through secdigitalnetwork.com... I'm at least willing to pay what I pay for Hulu and Netflix which is like 20 bucks a month.

For it to really take off they would need to have a shite load of baseball games on it imo.
