I know the president was on the plane and he and Stricklin came back without a signature. I can't imagine a scenario where that's a positive sign.

The only thing we actually know is that they were on the plane and went to New Hampshire. Beyond that I'm not sure we know much of anything.

I can't fathom a scenario where President Fuchs gets on that plane without expecting the deal to be done. If he didn't sign I don't think hes coming, we have no idea if he signed but I would imagine there would be something out there by now if he did. The fact that there isn't means he's still on the open market. That's not good for us, anyway you slice it in my opinion and it's just my opinion.

I stand by what I said 100%. Perhaps you should slow down and read again.

From the Gator board..thread on coaching hire:

Buddy Martin reporting on his show right now that UCLA has "moved on from Kelly. Kelly to Florida is done. "

While I'm gonna say ''it's pretty much all but done'', there are still snags. The chances of Kelly coming to Florida are extremely high, and about all of the people 'in the know' (those without dates) are anywhere from 85 - 98% certain.

One gator said:Multiple sources close to the hiring process between Kelly and Florida confirmed that there is no offer or terms from UF on the table
Another responded:That is absolutely retarded if you believe one word of that.

EDIT: You think they flew out to NH without an offer or any terms drawn up?

Come on, man, I know you're skeptical but this is beyond silly.

Almost all credible sources say it's a done deal, the others quickly backtracked their claims about his agent meeting with UCLA. Come to the Gator discord if you don't believe me.

One gator fan said:
Betting site bovada has it even Now that CHIP heads to ucla after opening up at +150.
Another responded:Betting sites are the worst, man. They're there to make money, and they know there are some retards who will throw away their money.

You still don't think Florida fans overreact? At least one fellow Gator disagrees with you when he said this: Its the ever omnipotent "done deal"

Relax for fricks sake.

Should I find quotes saying it is a done deal, or should I post quotes saying "Oh, NO! He isn't coming!"?

You should actually take the time to read what I wrote. I stand by it still.

What the frick does this have to do with anything I've said?

No idea why you are bringing up threads from the UF board here. I never mentioned them.

I'm not sure there would be, given how few people Stricklin has involved in this process and that there isn't another school involved. It is much easier for him to control the flow of information with Kelly.

One thing to keep in mind is that we have not heard anything about UF contacting other coaches or schools. If the meeting didn't go well or they weren't confident in landing him, why is UF not approaching other candidates?

Maybe Stricklin learned from this and is contacting the next guy the right way rather than getting the entire Gator Nation fired up over Kelly on Twitter. I'm not sure what anything means but I'm not getting my hopes up until Stricklin proves it to me. I'm done having blind faith in our program, without questioning the stupid decisions we have made lately.
