Agreed--we have more than an even chance next year and in 2011. Buck Fama!

Miles isn't a great coach but for all that talk about us not being able to compete with Bama as long as he's here, people seem to forget the last two games have been neck and neck til the end.

My god you are an idiot. DO you have any idea how hard it will be for Alabama to keep up what they have done the last 2 years? For starters, UF comes on their regular schedule the next 2 years. LSU certainly isn't going anywhere and their permanent partner, Tennessee, will be good again. Keep in mind, they trailed us with 10 minute to go, had to make a 70 yard drive with 4 minutes to go against AU, and blocked 3 field goals against UT. Kudos to them for doing these things, but that is the kind of stuff that doesn't happen every year. Also, there is absolutely no way this is Saban's last stop. He is too arrogant. Once he wins a NC, he will get bored again and start looking for the next challenge. Maybe Penn St. maybe ND, or maybe back to the NFL. He will not be at Alabama the next 10 years. No chance in hell. A reminder...this is a guy that chose Christmas night to announce he was leaving LSU....he thinks he is bigger than Jesus.

I agree and the fact that it took the seven leaf clover that saban stole from Miles in 08 media days to beat us 2 years in a row speaks volumes

I assume you mean if Saban is still there 10 years from now? That would be 9 SEC West Titles in 12 years.

No...freakin...way. Hell Bama's back to back titles this year was the first time that's happened since 1993 I think.

Bama has clearly taken over the West right now but the difference between them and the rest of the pack is much smaller than you think. Arkansas, Auburn, and Mississippi St. are on the rise, Nutt will always get his upset, and LSU isn't going anywhere. Bama had MANY close calls the past two seasons against inferior teams with only 1-2 plays/mistakes/lucky bounces deciding the outcome. And the outcome has favored Bama every single time. They're due. That and them losing a plethora of playmakers and experience on the defensive side of the ball next year will cost them at least 2 regular season games next year.
