Mark Ingram deserved it as far as the year 2009 is concerned. He wouldn't have won it in any other year, save that one. I also think a lot of people voted for Ingram because ESPN kept on plastering the fact that Alabama had never had a Heisman winner all over Sportscenter.

Passing efficiency doesn't win you the Heisman. Nor does being 75th in the nation in passing yards and 98th in passing attempts.

If he wins then the Heisman Trophy should go down the toilet with the NFL Pro Bowl.
