I’m curious. How many guys on the current LSU roster were there in 2019? Maybe 10?

I would think less than 10 but a higher number than Aggies remaining from its last national title.

I thought it was a straight forward question. I’m not sure how to simplify it further.

Better yet how many players on A&M Team have ever won a national championship at least I can still count one or two on LSU’s team who have a ring

Me too, and I gave you a straight answer. More than 0 but less than 10.

It's wild that Myles Brennan committed to Les Miles and Cam Cameron at LSU.

Is that right? I doubt it. There have to be a few guys who were freshmen in 2019.

All kidding aside, I wonder if there are any living Aggies who have won a football title? Conceivably, a guy born as late as 1921 could have played on the ‘39 squad which nipped Tulane. Would have to be turning 101 this year.

Brennan for one is still there, though he was a frosh in 2017.

That’s a great question. I wish I knew the answer.

When my son was like 5, we were watching a great national championship game between Alabama and Clemson. He asked me if A&M had ever win a national championship in football. I said, “yes, but it’s been a very long time - before I was born. But I’ve been rooting for them since I was even younger than you.”

He said, “Well, we’ll keep rooting for them. And if we die first, we’ll root from heaven. But, Daddy, I guess will we have to root for everyone from heaven. Except LSU and Texas. They’re won’t be any of them in heaven.”

True story. He’s a good boy.

Myles Brennan
Todd Harris
Jay Ward
John Emery
Kardell Thomas (not sure if he's still on the team?)
Micah Baskerville
Cameron Wire

That's off the top of my head

Good stuff, kids here don’t know who Texas A&M is, honestly. They learn to hate Bama and Ole Miss more than anyone, but the Ole Miss rivalry is not what it was years ago.
