I seem to remember that being a team that spent more time reading their press clippings than playing to their potential.

Sounds awfully similar to a more recent Saban coached team in the first year after a national championship.

He sure knows how to follow up a championship with a thud.

Beat AU, lost to UGA... They abused us... Beat Iowa. In short, we would have played in the Sugarbowl and likely won but would have had 1 loss.

Does LSU still have a lameduck coach in the bowl game?

1. We shouldn't have lost to Auburn anyway. Georgia destroyed us and we didn't lose to Iowa because of poor QB play.

ETA: Actually I'm going to say 3 because if we beat Auburn than we play Tennessee in SEC championship game and I think we win. Than we play Virginia Tech and win.

Not really, we only want to read what is there. That 04 LSU team had more talent on it than the 10 Bama team. However, that LSU team had no QB, while the 2010 Alabama team had to replace their entire defense.
