If, on some planet, there really is no pressure on bama then IMO that's good for LSU because a guy like Nick Saban with no pressure on him loses his edge.

Most of this thread is a bunch of BS at this point. The teams have not even reported to fall ball yet. To be sure LSU and Bama are again stacked to the gills. The key is can both teams make it unscathed to Nov 3rd for "Game of the Century III." When things get closer it will be time to start matching up tits for tats. Both teams are exposed at QB with respect to injury but I also think both of these teams have strong enough personnel in the background to pick up the slack if AJM or Mett goes down.
I have been much more interested in the recruiting battles that are mounting right now. It is crazy that the classes for these two schools are filling up before the season even starts. I dont think either team will have more than 2-3 spots left by Sept.

I say we put Eddie Williams in the game all night. 6'4" with a great vertical. He'd have a field day.
