Did he look like an all American to you Saturday?

Yep. It's similar to what Terrance Cody and Jesse Williams did when Alabama ran a 3-4 base. Their job was to eat multiple blocks and free up lanes for linebackers/open up pass rush. An elite nose tackle won't have a lot of tackles, but will certainly affect the offense.

I assume if you ask Georgia’s LBs they would agree with him being an All-American because he takes up blocks, allowing them to roam free without as much congestion. Take him off the field and you have an extra blocker and maybe 2 getting to the second level, changes a whole hell of a lot.

I get it now. When Jordan Davis was not in the game, UGA’s secondary couldn’t cover our receivers.

Yep. Sure did.

Alabama had to scheme around him and come out in packages that keep him off the field or otherwise make plays away from him. That is absolutely what I would call an All-American.

When arguably the best team in the nation has to change their entire scheme because of one player, it's for a reason.

Could have sworn I saw him just standing around on the field during the 2nd quarter last Saturday.

Lol what? We literally looked the exact same. Jameson Williams running down the sideline. The difference was that other teams have actual pass rushers.

Whether Jordan Davis was in the game or not, UGA wasn’t covering those guys. I was referring to his impact on the year as a whole not just one game.

I think UGAs defense got confused after we scored that quick possession to Jameson. From that point forward they looked lost.

Maybe he should lay off on consuming all those gaps. Dude needs to lose a few.

We give All-American awards now just because players are fat.

Here are correlating stats:

Brian Robinson Jr.
16 carries
55 yards
3.4 ypc
0 TDs
15 yards - Longest.

Also, every time 99 is in the game, it's a pass to the flats and used tempo. Scheming around 99 AND keeping him on the field and wearing him down on tempo.

I saw lots of tempo and quick passes vs. UGA. Tell me that wasn't scheming around 99.
