UF has a better resume. They beat the dog out of a team that beat Bama. They have a better loss.

Makes no sense.

Bama's name, history and tradition carries a lot of clout.

Maybe because it took a certified miracle for Florida to beat you and only a semi-miracle for Bama to?

1000 "u mad" responses from Bama fans incoming.

It's a question worthy of discussing, which is why it won't be.

Do yall even think about this stuff at all?

There's an entire month of football, Bama could lose and if they don't they could face Florida in the SECCG

IT WILL WORK OUT

Bama would be -10 vs UF.

Why wouldn't Bama be ranked higher?

This is just another way to say that they get preferential treatment.

I agree, but that's all irrelevant to the question.

I think it's worth looking at the process even in the early weeks to get a feel for what they are going for. This one was incredibly inconsistent.

I think the current rankings reflect that the committee is open to giving LSU the mulligan this year. I could go for that.

That is what happens When you're consistent at winning vs whining.
