Fair points. I watched that Miami game and ND didn’t take off the training wheels til the end of the game when they basically had no choice. If that game is played today ND would be a lot harder to scheme defensively bc their QB can sling it now and he"ll beat you if you put 8 on the line . Throw in a new DC and replacing I think 5 NFL draft picks on defense?….basically a lot of new. My point is If Beck playing instead of Stockton is worth 2 TDs then everything I just mentioned is worth a little more than a FG if those teams played now. If you flip the schedule ND probably at least splits those 1st 2 games which is not a popular take here. Bottom line ND could make some noise if they get in or equally may not be deserving .

I would rate Bama over UGA as higher and A&M over ND as being basically a wash with Indiana at Oregon.

If beating uga in Athens was no big deal, somebody would have done it in the last 6 years.

Shiite. A&M scored on the kickoff. Got flagged for holding and took the points off the board.

That call was probably the call that helped y’all see the game.
If you guys give the ball back to ND with over a minute 30 left, you don’t think they march down and score at least a FG?

Whoever had the ball last with reasonable time on the clock was going to win the game.

I called it in the game chat that the penalty being called back was a good thing for A&M. You want to know why?
Elko is a damn good coach and knows how to bleed clock to his advantage.
He’s good.
