o be fair to them, they are just looking for a consistent above average player.

Yep.
Without him, we could’ve been looking at an ugly season. I’d say we should a good Mizzou season next year.

I don't know why, but he reminds me of Joe Montana.

The fact that kids come in in January has changed things a lot also. They have eight months to get ready for the season opener.

Quite frankly, if Hilinski can't beat Jake out I'm thinking 2 things.

Muschamp is a moron or Hilinski ain't that good.

The kids enrolled already. If he's as good as advertised he'll beat out Jake.

You mean he didn’t look that great in his very first college football game? Wow that’s a surprise.

I watched Johnny U win the "greatest game ever" against the NY Giants in 1959.

Since his junior year in HS I've thought that Lawrence is the best QB that I've ever seen.

And Mizz thinks he is the replacement to Lock.....dude didnt complete 1 pass against Bama over 10 yards.

If you saw the guys that were set to play next year at QB for Mizzou, you'd be awfully happy too. All the pieces were in place (returning talent, much easier schedule) for a really good season except for an above-replacement level QB, which Bryant sure looks to be. After watching the NC game, there's no shame in getting beat out by Lawrence; Lock was a four year starter and a 1st round pick and he would have too.
