For the 100000000th time LSU only outrushed us because SABAN DID NOT THINK YOU WOULD RUN THE OPTION THAT MUCH.
You didn't outmuscle Bama by any means, you ran an option that we didn't prepare for. I guess GSU had a better O-Line than Bama, because ran all over us.

If saban didn't think LSU would run the option then he IS NOT the coach everyone thinks he is.
What about '07, '08 and '10? Tigers outrushed bama and saban those games too? Twice going over 200. In that timeframe bama's best game against LSU is around 150.

07 - Not Saban's recruits
08 - Still some Shula guys, but they had two years of Saban. You had a better ground attack in 08, why debate that?
09 - Ingram's Heisman season
10 - What anyone did against that clusterfrick of a defense doesn't surprise me. If Stephen Garcia can beat it, anyone can.
11 - Option we didn't prepare for.

I saw someone claiming we couldn't rush on LSU...Richardson would've had like 125 yards had Vlachos not got his arse beat and let Richardson get beat down and lose yards.

You couldn't run on us last year WITHOUT the option and what Mett can do against other defenses won't matter. He'll have never seen a D that will give him the looks we will. Lester/Milliner are in our secondary with three years of experience. It's going to be a good game, but our Run D REALLY doesn't experience much of a drop off. Why would you think you can outrush Bama when you couldn't run without the option against our D last year? You'll get more yards than you did in NOLA that is for sure, but to think you'd outrush Alabama is crazy.
And I know what you wanna say. You wanna say our run D does drop off. I guess you know much more about Bama than me.

Better at running the football against our D than we were against yours yes. 07 and 10 LSU had better teams than Bama. How is that an excuse? It's a fact. LSU > Bama in 07 and 10.

Marc Ingram is a prime example. Read my lips, he is not an elite NFL running back. Average at best. He was all everything running in the Alabama backfield because he was the man. Just like some of the other backs up for awards this year. Collectively, the LSU backs are as good or better. They are not going to be The back. Lacy would just be another good back in the stable. And he would hold up better because he wouldn't take as much punishment. But Lacy like Ingram, is just another back.

Nothing special.
The only RBs that are outright better than Eddie would be Lattimore, Davis, and Ball. Stacy, Michael, and Graham all could be argued imo.
