He overcomes adversity better than most which makes him deadly. Say what you will but he has done better than ANYONE thought. Missouri has a good Def anyone who doesn't think so is being a HOMER. This will be a test of our running game and a test of Missouri's secondary.

I can't recall him taking any big shots while standing in the pocket. He's gotten hit pretty hard while scrambling a couple of times. Hurt his shoulder on one in the Florida game. He responded well. He was recruited as a RB so he's used to taking hits.

It depends on if he is at home or not

he's not very good
now that doesn't mean he can't pull something out of his arse cause he's done that plenty
but that in and of itself doesn't make him "good", just able at certain points/junctures

That was because we ran play action for Fowler in the flats and Raheem Falkins ran into Fowler and knocked him to the ground. Had nobody to throw to and was probably confused why there was nobody in the area.

Has anybody really knocked the shite out of him? If so, how's re responded? Dobbs and the other GOAT quarterbacks Mizzou's faced did not respond well.

He is a little banged up right now, but he got the job done.
I think he has a leg injury that is hurting his usual performance, but he had a great 4th quarter with the game on the line.
Bottom line: I never understood how there was any question about him as the starter. Coker is not as good as Sims.

more than Cooper has caught his passes.. no one has realized that yet..
yeah, some have caught passes, but your second leading receiver has 33 catches and 380 yards on the season. Your third leading receiver has 13 catches for 225. That's not exactly spreading the ball around when Cooper has over 1500 receiving yards.

This. That doesn't mean you won't make him make mistakes or make him scramble for minimal gains, but Blake has only been sacked 8 times all season.

Cooper is unquestionably the #1 guy, but I think the point is we have other guys who have made big catches in tight games. The other options aren't as good as Cooper, and since Cooper gets open 80% of the time he is the guy we go to, but White, C. Jones, Howard (when he's not disappearing), Stewart and our backs (Fowler and Yeldon) have all had big catches in big spots this year.
Basically, you can't just ignore them or they will make plays.

Yea, Blake just doesn't get pressured. I'm not saying Mizzou won't get in his grill or make him make mistakes, but he just doesn't get sacked much. I really don't expect him to all of a sudden have no time and start getting collapsed on.
Our line is actually much better in pass protection and zone scheme running than they are in power running like usual, and Blake is good in the pocket and obviously good moving outside the pocket.

His biggest weakness, and a lot of that comes from teams double teaming Cooper. If Cooper isn't open, he struggles sometimes finding or even looking for another open receiver.
Dude is a monster when he gets Cooper in 1 on 1's
other than that he's pretty average
In other words, I'd be ecstatic if he were LSU's QB

Yea I'd agree with that. Throws a good deep ball, has really good patience (sometimes too much for his skillset), but he can get antsy at times.
