dude the honey badger had no positive effect on the NCG. none

an assload of players in that game didnt really do much. Not one guy on LSUs offense made a play. does that mean everyone on LSUs offense is overrated and wont be a good pro?

Who on LSUs defense played a great game in the NC game?

Stop bringing up Maze

since you knew TRs height at the NFL combine I thought you may have known Maze's true height, calm down.

he is just too short/small to be an elite CB in the NFL.

I dont think anyone expects TM7 to be elite in the NFL

I know. You just make it up. He's too short. Yeah, it's killing him. It's killing Flowers. It's killing Arenas. It's killing Prince Miller and Asher Allen. Someone tell those guys they can't play because they are 5'9"!

Almost everyone in the country considered him the best overall def player in college football last year. Not many def players are up for the Heisman. And he missed a game for smoking synthetic weed but was able to overcome that black mark to still make it to NYC. He is the best overall football player in college right now. Yes he is short. NO he is not slow. And yes a few catches of perfectly thrown balls were made on him. But remember your defense won the 1/9 game. Although Bama moved the ball on us we held them to 5 FGs. They couldnt move it near the red zone. And only when the game was basically over TR made the run.

Like I said most Bama fans are not like you. Maybe on these boards but not in "real life" I think they recognize a talent when they see it. Again he has the ALL TIME record for creating fumbles in only 2 years. He makes plays all over the field. It is not an accident.

they say he's overrated anyway. I'm sure they came to that conclusion from reading message boards though.

I think he'll be bednarik and thorpe finalist this year.

Are we talking about Arenas (who is bigger than TM) being the greatest, or are we talking about TM?

Short people can't play, chief. He sucks. It's why Barry Sanders and Warrick Dunn were failures.

You are right on! He has football instinct. He always seems to be in the right place. He reads the field better than most. And stepping in to play Reids position after a few days practice? How many can do that.

Ok.

Prepare for a disappointing year, my friend. And I don't want to hear the usual, "Oh, nobody was saying he was THAT good" after the fact, LSU excuses in a few months.

Anyway, I'm supposed to be working. You guys have fun.

If he doesn't get it done he doesn't get it done. The fact is that last year he was the best. If he gets 65 tackles a forced fumble, 3 picks, 3 or 4 sacks, some TFL, and contributes returning and covering kicks, that will be more than any Bama DB has done since Saban got there. Guy can ball. Let's not let his out of his mind brilliance overshadow what can easily be achieved by him.

I would love to make a serious bet with you. But I am sure I could never collect. I was thinking after his freshman year that he may not back it up. Even after seeing what Patrick Peterson was saying about him. PP "willed" his number to him claiming him to be a future star. And he was proven correct. Oh well we all know we cant convince a close minded bama fan anything. Some on here are open and honest and can admit someone that doesnt play for bama is a star. But not you.

He has better stats , after his true freshman and sophomore years, than any Bama cb EVER. DWI. HE WON THE BEDNARIK AND ZERO BAMA DBS HAVE. EVER. he is better than any cb ever at Bama. Dwi

You guys are tedious. You show me a DB with a lot of stats, and I'll show you one that gets thrown at a lot.

Deflection looks good on you. Let me guess. If it was Bama cb with great stats, you would see a cb with versatility and could play out of position, right?

alot of the turnovers he's credited with are not neccessarily his WRs catching the ball.

The hatred for the Honey Badger amongst Bama fans nears obsessive status

This is pretty cool

You show me a guy with not a lot of stats who is supposedly a good corner, and I'll show you a guy who would still be trying to catch Reuben Randle if rule makers didn't mercifully make the field only 120 yards end to end.
