There is not a men’s sport where Aggy has a winning record against Texas. Texas also has a winning record in football at Kyle Field.
Also just won a little Sears trophy. But they paid Jimbo $75 million to not even play for a conference title over a decade.

I was just there. I never saw any regular person or student that concerned.
Not a lot of people on campus though I guess. Seemed like more incoming freshman and family scooting around on Veos.
It was kind of nice to walk about campus at night and not have to worry about the Baton Rouge crime and culture problems. It was also nice to see respect for military and our country.
Whatever happens initially I do think A&M has a better current and likely future student body culture who will support sports at an SEC level as alumni over Texas. Texas students protesting school song, players refusing to participate, and the band refusing to play song is just tip of the iceberg. Texas is a decade away from renaming Bevo to Nandi.
I still think LSU fans are clueless of negative effect this will be on LSU after a while. Maybe some fans are just hiding behind A&M’s pride taking a hit and look at A&M like ULaLa, but for whatever reason many are too ignorant to see LSU losing as well with less in the tank so to speak.

To be fair, 70 is a tainted title. It was one of the last years the AP voted prior to the bowl games which Texas lost to Notre Dame by 2 scores.
But we actually win real championships that are awarded following the game. So we don't need to desperately disqualify others events like the aggies due to our own inferiority complex and shame at what failures the aggies are

A&M can’t handle that they are already second tier. State has passed them in my eyes. Better FB coach who can develop, better and more loyal fan base, and wins natty championships in other sports.
