No worries. I figure if you make that I can start the State/Ok State thread to lead into Grindfest

He posted it first you dumb arse. This is exactly what I'm talking about. UM fans only heard the part where I mentioned the championship.. "HOLY shite LYKE Y THA HELL ARE ALL THESE COW HUMPERS SO OBSESSED WITH US!!!".. It's all an illusion that y'all cannot break out of.

Since you started this with
Let me just point out some facts, and no I am not one of those State fans that hates Ole Miss with a passion.
Students "from" Mississippi actually choose MSU by a pretty good margin for undergrad. Ole Miss has a much higher out of state enrollment than MSU, and even still MSU has a larger undergrad enrollment.
I'm not saying this is a good thing, because it shows that Ole Miss has more national appeal. However, it shows that us commoners from Mississippi actually tend to prefer MSU over Ole Miss.

Your most famous alumni has a degree from OM and house in Oxford
We actually have alumnus people have heard of
I could go on but this thread being started is all the list you need. People don't understand why you even have a fanbase

While true, State fans are the ones that constantly feel the need to make statements like this.
An Ole Miss fan would never feel the need.
That one difference is enough for most people.

No you posted about it first. I was merely showing you the error of your statement then you proceeded to say it didn't matter anyway. Keep up

I assume either to much drugs rotting the brain or being dropped on there head as a baby would be what makes people become Mississippi State fans.

Just for fun....
Our woman are better - I'll concede this one
Our parties are better - Eh, I'll give you a slight edge.
Our town is better - The square, yes. The rest of the town, no
Our campus is better - This is only if you base a campus off of buildings with columns. State actually has a great campus.
Our colors are better - agree to disagree
Our football is better - Not in our lifetime
Our tailgating is better - I'll give you an edge here
Our school is better - we have exactly the same standards....

Y'all are some miserable people. Exemplify Ole Miss perfectly.

I'll admit this, Im from a hard working middle class family never needed or wanted for anything growing up. With That said there are just as many fans like me who grew up Ole Miss fans.
Just because you are an Ole Miss fan or student it doesn't mean that you are from families in the upper 2% of the State's tax bracket.
Both schools have rich, middle class, and poor students. Which has NOTHING to do with the respective schools. Some people just go overboard with the fact that Ole Miss is only for the Elite students, when they have the same exact entrance requirements as Mississippi State.
I agree with most of this. My thing is how other fanbases overblow the whole OM stereotype. It's fricking ridiculous. Most of the time it's others perpetuating it, not OM fans.
And look, I grew up around it in hburg (people hating on OM) and I have now lived in Oxford for 8 years. Time after time, people come to Oxford and see that it doesnt live up to the snooty stereotype some like to portray.
Oxford is a small, chill, college town in the South that explodes into a gridlock seven saturdays every Fall. I just find it funny when people act like they know Oxford frontwards and backwards when theyve been here for a game once or twice, or sometimes not at all.
