Starkville still isn't the smallest town in the SEC, and currently has a lot of construction projects in progress around campus.
Ole Miss is constantly voted #1 because they pay for the publicity. OM, along with Oxford have been extremely aggressive about buying this intuitive recognition, because they know it works. It's very crafty, and they do it better than anyone I've seen. Kudos to them.
I mean, think about it, would people really think Oxford is the #1 college town in America?

I await the melt
Who will melt harder:
Ole Miss when they lose a few schollies
Or
State when they finish last in the West without shitboy playing qb?

Okay precious, let's play - did, or did not Laremy Tunsil admit to taking money from a coach?

Oxford is only fun until midnight.

Ole Miss has bought a boat load of players in the last 5 years. I'm not talking about lunch money, wrist watches or electronic gifts either.

Haha yeah we pay people to vote for this. Look at the construction in Oxford compared to Starkville. Look at the number of homes under construction, look at the prices of those homes. Compare the number of student housing properties built and being built in Starkville compared to Oxford. Retail space on Jackson avenue pales in comparison to on the square and it leases for about $25-$30/square ft. Does any retail space in Starkville go for even $15/sf? I'm sorry, the success of the football programs recently might be somewhat comparable, but comparing Oxford to Starkville itself is laughable.

I doubt you actually know what's going on in Starkville. And I never said Oxford wasn't growing too?
You do pay for the pub. But why are you mad? It's worked!

We all know that. It's just fun to hear the poor saps deny it, over and over again.

Everyone quiet now. We're gonna get right up close to her. Now this here is the I'm right melt. Just look at the size of her. Now the thing about these melts is they can't be dissuaded. Just look. Notice how the melt uses facts to back itself out of the corner? Alright let's let her go. Go on melt, go on. We'll be seein ya. Wow!

No one has said that. Just dumb aren't you?

If it was done illegally then OM would have fired the coaches. I'm not an idiot and believe college athletes, who make the school millions, arent taken care of. OM has not been accused of paying recruits, that's the truth and that's what I said. Reading is tough

Cute. One of your own recruits - broadcast the worldwide - said he was paid.
quote:
When pressed if that reply meant he had indeed taken money from a coach, Tunsil said, “I’d have to say, yeah.’”
I'm sure I don't have to explain any more, but you keep your denial strong. The rest of us are enjoying your melt. And lack of comprehension.

Tunsil isn't a recruit. Once again. Reading is hard. Nothing will come of the Tunsil messages btw. And even if they did, the statement I replied to is just as hypocritical since state was the last program on probation and on probation for paying recruits to come to state and not visit other programs.

Taking Oxford completely out of the equation, Starkville is still the most boring SEC college town and it isn't even close.
If you think spending 3-4 years in a boring cow town doesn't influence 18 yr old kids then you're a moron.

But, he was a recruit at one time. Your kidding yourself if the NCAA isn't licking every nickel that went through Tunsil's hands the past few years to find out where it came from. If it tastes shitty, well, it usually is shite. And that's where OL Miss finds themselves today. Exposed and smelling shitty. I normally would hate it for any college and their fans, but the amount of shear denial pumped out by your coaches and AD is embarrassing. And you guys just don't see it. Yet. More cowbell please.

Well how can you say " not even close" and " boring cow town" while taking Oxford out of the equation?
They have pretty much the same shite. Both towns have college campuses, big tailgating scenes, trendy college bars, nice restaurants, fast food, city jails, small town airports, hotels, shops, retail, movie theaters, 3 or 4 major roads, state highways running through, with naught interstates.
Let's you explain..

I'm sorry, but Starkville is a lot more comparable to Cleveland, MS than Oxford.
