Yea this about the worst I've seen a bama fan do. It took him 25 minutes to research what he just posted.

Funny how that works, huh? LSU is for the poors until we talk about recruiting. Then it's obviously because LSU is paying recruits to come.

All they have now if flaming. They have more talent on their roster than 97% of college football, but continue to lose at least 3 games a year. All they have left is the success of 3-4 players in the NFL to use to flame other fan bases. Its pretty funny. "yea you beat us, but 3 of our former players are good in the NFL"

I will counter this thread with the fact that we bring as many or more elite DBs to Alabama every cycle.

No the frick we don't. Only got 1 in 2010 (Milliner). 1 in 2011 (Ha-Ha). 1 in 2012 (Collins). Not bringing in multiple elite guys in 2011 and 2012 really hurt us badly in 2013-2014. We have righted the ship with what we have now, but we definitely need to keep bring in at least 2 per cycle to not experience any drop off like we have seen.

Sure did you stupid swap water cajun hick. The point is that the secondary gets exposed consistently yet elite talent wants to play there. Makes no sense. Believe your own hype and keep enjoying chicken bowls, loser

You ask why we get these recruits. We explain why (NFL track record, coaching, LA athletes). Then you spew troll garbage for the next 20 posts.

LSU lost to 2 teams this year that had inferior talent and one team that had more talent, and ole miss is not far behind LSU talent wise. Bama lost to 1 team with inferior talent this year. It's not the direction we want to be heading, but it's not nearly as bad as you make it out to be. I understand that this doesn't fit the narrative though. Yea, we have more talent than 97% of college football teams, unfortunately, we routinely play the few teams that have as much or more talent than we do. That's the price of playing in the SEC.

Eric Reid is regarded as one of the best safeties in the league.

Patrick Peterson
Tyrann Mathieu
Eric Reid

All starters, all pro-bowlers.

Not to mention Ryan Clark just finished a very good career and is now all over ESPN.

The thread started out as a compliment to LSU's ability to recruit elite dbs every single year and not face the same negative recruiting tactics that Bama faces. Some of the more insecure members of the fan base took it as a flame. No one is really buying the DBU stuff because you only have 1 really good DB and 1 above average that happens to play on the same team as the really good DB. The rest are just as average as the Bama DBs in the league. So please spare us the DBU and NFL crap. You all are living off the hype from 1 player, not the multiple players you all think that are so much better than everyone else in the league. Get over yourselves. Sheesh.

What about the other reasons listed? You conveniently omitted commeningd on them.

Do you know what track record means? I'm not just talking about current NFL players, although a previous poster already corrected you on that (more than just "1 really good and 1 above average player" in the NFL). LSU has had some excellent DBs go through the league over the years.
