Forgot about them usually because they don’t do anything.

Mizzou has one of the best wrestling programs in the country.

I think Georgia used to have a wrestling team.

Wrestling is a legit sport, so do other teams start a program? Are they gonna claim more natty’s than others because they are the only ones playing in the one sport?

I remember well when the SEC had wrestling programs, and it was great fun attending matches. I don't know why they were abandoned. It's not an expensive sport to have.

Bama and Auburn had wrestling back in the 70s. I assume others SEC schools did too. Can’t really remember. Our high school got a couple of Bama’s old mats when they folded the program. I remember going to a meet at Auburn when Iowa and Dan Gable came to town around the early 80s. Packed arena. It was a happening. Wrestling used to be a big deal even in the south. Would love to see it make a comeback.

Wrestling requires probably the most conditioning of any physically competitive sport, dumbass. In the spring, many high school football programs down South were heavy into wrestling workouts.
It'll absolutely wear your arse out in just a couple of minutes. Usually it's the better conditioned wrestler that wins. It's a GREAT sport!

It's not expensive to have a wrestling program but it is extremely involved and different than football in that in order to be a good-to-very good program, you have to have facilities for wrestling beyond just 4 years at college.

The elite programs all have training sites affiliated with the program to train after eligibility for Olympics and wrestling after college.

Like Penn State has and Iowa with their Hawkeye Wrestling Club. Mizzou has Tiger Style Wrestling Club. That is the ONLY way you're going to get wrestling recruits.

I wrestled in jr high and until 11th grade of high school. Best shape I’ve ever been in my life. Wrestling workouts will whip your arse.

Most of these candy asses trashing wrestling are too fat and undisciplined to ever cut weight in their life.

One cross-face and they'd be crying like a bitch.

Jocko says they have a higher chance of becoming a seal too out of all the other HS sports.
