Ha! A bama person wondering how a call went against them. It probably stands out because you havent notice for 10 years how Bama gets favored treatment every game.

Nothing new there. Bama CB’s have been holding WR’s for years with no consequences. Last night since it was Georgia they threw a few flags. Had you been playing a regular team, flag never hits the carpet.
So yes that should have been a penalty. There were still several occasions with both teams DB’s that should have been PI or holding that were not called. The top teams get away with preferential treatment because that is the way the SEC wants it. When two preferential teams play each other, they are forced to throw at least a few flags.

Georgia had 6 penalties for 50 yards.
Alabama had 10 penalties for 90’yards.
That's a nice narrative, and i realize that the refs missed calls. But you realize that if the calls were correct there could still be a discrepancy in the number and distance, right? Just pointing out that Alabama was penalized more could mean that Alabama committed more penalties.

There were two obvious missed pass interference calls that should have been called on Georgia that ended Alabama drives.
I saw one. Would you mind stating where the second one was so I can take a look? I can also point out some penalties that were not called against Alabama, I am sure. I saw some holding calls that were not made, but that happens in every game. (Ftr, I saw some that could have been called against Georgia, too) I saw several jersey grabs on both teams that were not called.

Do you believe that if one team has 12 penalties and the other team has 11 penalties that the refs were being "kind" to the 11 penalty team? Because that's what you are implying with this reply.
But t wasn't close... And it's about the timing of some of the penalties that makes them suspect...

Yes, that was bad, but we got away with a blatant horse collar.
That's the hardest one for me to wrap my head around. (Horse collars) I have seen some not called when a player grabbed just a jersey and some called. I've seen some called when they grabbed the front of the shoulder pads and some not called. I guess the referees are still working out some calls.

The two that pissed me off were after they brought in a new center and had 2 immediate false starts that went uncalled.
This one always gets me. I've seen centers walk up to the line and pick the ball up and then place it back down and not get called. It happens all the time. (Not saying you are wrong because i don't remember them, but just commenting in general) I also missed where we brought in a new center.

Again. can somebody please answer what Alabama fans want with this thread? You won. Is it you are looking for validation? You want to feel like the game could have been worse? You really do not believe that there were bad calls both ways?
Y'all come here with examples of one bad call and want to yell that the referees were crooked.
Here's your validation. The OP is correct. That was a bad call.

They missed PI calls on both teams and they won't throw 3 more opi's the rest of the season. The Bama player was arm barred with our wrs while the ball was in the air and fell on his own. Even so, it was defensive PI before it was potentially opi that is why you don't flag that.

Didn't matter... Holding on offense had already been called so it was coming back. That play didn't stand.

No. You don't have to lie to make friends.
And for the point of this thread? I don't really know lol

Also, let's not overlook the roughing the passer on milroe no call... Late hit, drove him to the ground. Announcers noticed it too...

And let’s not forget about the numerous offensive pass interferences by Georgia. Only one was called.

Low football IQ people always point to holding... We all know there's holding on every play. If refs called it every time, we'd never finish. Things like blatant PI or roughing the passer shouldn't go uncalled.

"They shouldn't call holding on Bammer."
"They should never miss PI against Bammer."
Do you realize how stupid you sound? No, You don't, you really don't.
